  Liked: There was plenty of space for the two of us, both inside and out. The photos on Booking.com provide a realistic impression. We were able to use the hosts' washing machine at any time (it’s located outside and is always accessible). The kitchen is well-equipped. Whenever a minor issue arose, our host, Gaby, responded immediately. She even provided beach umbrellas and towels—incredible! It is very quiet, especially in the evenings and at night, as hardly any cars drive up there on the hill. On the other side of the small road, there are benches where you can enjoy a fantastic view of the valley. The route Gaby recommended for arriving is easy to navigate, though we didn't find the alternative (steeper) route through the village to be a problem either. We were always able to find a parking space right across the street.

  Disliked: Not a big deal, but in bad weather, an extra armchair inside would be nice—that way, you could sit facing each other. A TV would also be helpful during bad weather, as there’s not much you can do outside then. We were aware when booking that there wasn’t one, but luckily we had great weather!:-) The dining table area would have a nicer atmosphere if it had its own dedicated light. The reading lamps by the bed are just exposed bulbs—a bit too bright if the other person is trying to sleep.

  Peaceful escape in Aljezur

  Liked: The house is very new and furnished with great taste. We found it super cleaned and equipped with all the basics. The outdoor space is lovely and although it gives directly to the street, the area is very quiet and cars very rarely pass by. The house is next to the one where the owners stay, but the separate entrance guarantees full privacy. The owners are very attentive and easy to reach if something's needed. Highly recommend, we had a great time!

  Liked: There really is a wonderful “sunset view”! Yoni and his wife were really kind and helpful to me, the accommodation was cozy and inviting. Really liked Aljezur as well
