  Disliked: Locked into building as the shared electronic front door would not open and we had to exit building through another apartment window. These things happen but no response from owner whatsoever. Other apartment rentors found keys to manually open door.

  Great apartment, lovely location

  Liked: The apartment is lovely and the roof terrace is the best bit as you have views of the sea and it’s big so there’s plenty of room to spread out.

  Disliked: There were a couple of things that in my opinion need changing - the curtains in the bedrooms, particularly one of them are very opaque so there’s no privacy at night and no way of blocking out the street lights outside. Also the pillows are uncomfortable, they’re quite firm which is traditional in Portugal but it would be great if there was an alternative soft one available.

  Not a bad place, but not as advertised and not worth the price

  Liked: Good location, close to the beach. Rooftop terrace and private courtyard.

  Disliked: Apartment was listed as 1 bedroom with a separate living room and separate bedroom, however it is a studio. They even label the lock box for the door as estudio. This was very disappointing. The apartment also smelled, possibly of bug spray and other humid odors.

  Liked: The studio apartment was clean and very comfortable. We had a small courtyard to sit and hang clothes to dry. Host provided a cup of coffee, a nice touch.
