Fabulous
Excellent place overall
Liked: Very nice place to spend 3 nights. Was 5 minutes walk away from the beach, supermarket next door and close to the town centre. It was clean and everything was available in the unit. Easy check-in with clear instructions and very responsive staff.
Disliked: I wish there was a sheet on the bed as there was only a duvet type blanket which was unusual. But it wasn't a big deal as it was cool enough at night. I knew going in that there was no AC and it was fine for the time of year.in October.
what we expected
Liked: Big house close to beach shops eateries. Use of akitchen and shared bathroom with 4 frooms on each floor. we stayed here three years ago and enjoyed it just the same. Mirela keeps the house bestifully cleam and let us have our room early on two bookings. birthday chocolate and wine. Thank you so much 💖
Disliked: i have said this lastt tine i stayed that no room clean unless paying 25 euros and one set of clean towels per 7 day stay amd tgen rxpected to pay id the downfall. just add the cost back onto the booking like all other hotels.
Exceptional Place to stay in peace and comfort
Liked: The check-in and check-out was super easy. The availablity of shared washroom and kitchen was good. The discipline maintained by the shared guest was really good. The good place to live in. I will definitely book again for the next trip. Highly recommended.
Great spot in Costa Da Caparica
Liked: I normally avoid guesthouse type properties because you never know what you are going to get, but I decided to give this place a try and I’m glad I did. Everything was clean and comfortable. While the bathroom is shared, it is only with one other unit. I found the place to be quiet and well located - easy to walk to several places. There was an Auchan grocery on the same street.
Cosy and good location
Liked: There is a well equipped kitchen on every floor. Both the kitchen and bathrooms are very clean. The staff was kind enough to provide us with a bottled water once during one of many water shortages (the water shortage was a city issue - not hotel’s fault).
Disliked: No aircon! That’s a bit of a dealbreaker, as the heat during the high season definitely affected our sleep quality. The fan they provide is not enough. The room we stayed at was a bit too tight for two people for more than just one night, but we managed. There are also some cosmetic details, such as a broken toilet paper holder in one of the bathrooms, or a clock not working, etc. These things didn’t affect our stay, but they show the staff’s attention to detail.
Liked: The Guesthouse was almost perfect! Very clean, comfortable and in a very good location in Costa da Caparica. We loved the patio where you can sit and work. We would really like to book it again.
Disliked: The internet connection on the patio is not stable. We contacted the owner and asked for a solution as soon as possible - we hope fot this to improve so working downstairs is more comfortable.
