Exceptional
Great place
Liked: Big spacious apartment. Spotlessly clean.
Disliked: The pillows need renewed. They were either solid or really lumpy.
Liked: Very bright and clean
Spacious, pleasant appartment in a great location
Liked: Host: we had good communication with Ricardo who speaks good English. He greeted us on arrival and showed us the appartment. He was on Whats app and we knew that if we had a problem we could always reach him. Check out time was 11.00 which is a much easier and fairer time than 10.00 so we appreciated having time to have our breakfast on the day of departure and make sure we left the flat in good order. Appartment: it was exactly as described on booking.com. We were three people ( mother and daughters) and each had our own bedroom. The bedrooms were dark as there were shutters which was very important for us for good sleep. The whole apartment was spacious with a small pantry and a room to leave shoes and hang out washing. Facilities: great internet, a washing machine, a dish washer, an oven and hob. The host had kindly provided dish washer tabs too. The only thing missing was a kettle so we had to use a pan to heat up water for our tea. Sofa was big enough for three people to sit comfortably. The TV is not a smart TV but that was not a problem for us. Location: About a 20 minute walk to the centre of Faro. The Bom Joao station was 5 minutes walk away. The apartment is located on the bottom floor of a high rise building as pictured on booking.com. There is a car park outside so there was obviously going to be vehicle noise. With windows shut not a problem. A supermarket ( Continente) was a 10 minute walk away. All in all, we had a good fortnight here and can definitely recommend it.
Disliked: There is not much hence the very high score. A kettle and a colander would have been appreciated.
Liked: Very spacious and clean, had good facilities
Liked: Cleanliness, being greeted by owner on arrival, location
Disliked: No kettle in the apartment.
