  Great host, lovely place to stay

  Liked: Faro Town House is a fabulous spot in the city centre, perfect for exploring and enjoying the bar and food scene. My room on the ground floor was huge, spotless and tastefully decorated. It had a nice bathroom with a great shower and plenty of fresh towels. The bed was very comfortable. The shuttered windows muffled noise from the street. The internet was fast and reliable and there was a desk for working. Daniel was the best of hosts. He provided breakfast daily, which I wasn't expecting, and gave me good recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. And he did my laundry! Thanks, Daniel. His little dog, Holly, was a great companion to me while relaxing on the terrace. Would love to stay again and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Faro.

  Liked: Our stay at Faro Town house was absolutely great! We were welcomed by a very friendly host; a great breakfast and the option to do laundry were included in the price although we did not expect it. The location is central, close to many of the things Faro has to offer. The room itself was very spacious and comfortable. As the description states, the Town house is located in a student party area, which comes with some noise at night. Our room was in the back, with sound-proofed windows, so we did not experience any discomfort because of this.

  It was everything we needed and more

  Liked: The house is beautiful and so well looked after. Our room was amazing. It is obviously that a lot of time and energy has been put into making it a calm and relaxing place. It was super clean, spacious and private. Daniel was amazing! He really went out of his way to look after us. We got so many good recommendations from him for restaurants or places to visit and he helped us out so much with hiring a car. In the booking it said that it can sometimes be noisy at night due to the (fantastic) location of the house but it wasn’t really noticeable and also ear plugs were provided in the room. The terrace was sunny and we had a great time just hanging out chatting with Daniel and the other guests, or playing with Holly. It felt more like we were staying with a friend we had known for ages rather than at a guest house. We will miss Daniel and Holly a lot.

Good to know

Faro Town House is located very close to the city's nightlife district.

There are bars and clubs in the vicinity of the accommodations, and music is played until at least 4 am. It can be very noisy on the street all night.

Do not book the accommodations, especially Thursday to Saturday, if you are sensitive to noise. Faro Town House is located downtown.

You must be able to tolerate a certain basic noise level 24/7.This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties.
