  Very small, badly equipped, damp in walls, badly in need of renovation, NOISY. Nice host

  Liked: Although the host was friendly and helpful- no complaints about that, there was very, very little to actually like about our stay or the property, sorry to say. Like, literally nothing was as you might expect.

  Disliked: The place was very small - not an issue in general as it was town centre located, and the location was - on the map and description perfect so size wouldnt have mattered. But this is a very, very, old property, hardly renovated, and although the main sleeping area has enough room to sleep on the bed-thing, the tiny, poky second room where our daughter slept on a futon-thing, was awful. The kitchen was barely a room, with broken units, hardly any equipment, and no light coming in anywhere. There were also bare concrete steps leading up a floor to dusty, laundry area that frankly would not be out of place in a horror film. That’s not the worst. It was quite when we arrived, but as the drinkers and nightlife came out after 12, it was CHAOS right outside the house. Shouting, screaming, falling, running, drinking and banging on the doors and windows ALL NIGHT. Horrendous public disorder, which actually looked like it was regular. None of slept.

  Good choice for early or late season short stay or those wanting a convenient location near airport

  Liked: Communication with Ana was good and quick response via WhatsApp. Excellent location for proximity to town, bus/train station just 5min walk and 16 bus to Airport 20min journey. Was lucky to have place to myself for the night and being out of season midweek, no problems with late night noise. Some facilities a little dated but perfectly adequate. Tea and coffee available (but bring or buy own milk) plenty of cooking utensils if not eating out.

  Disliked: Couldn't get aircon to blow heat (but that's probably just me!), sharing bathroom/kitchen could be an issue dependant on whom you may be sharing facilities with, but not an issue in my case for 1night stay.

  Liked: The railway station and the harbour are just a few minutes walk away. The hosts were very friendly. I also had the whole downstairs area to myself, as there were no other guests at the time. The room itself was comfortable and had a lovely terrace.

  Disliked: Little noisy, but that was OK - ear plugs were provided:)
