Excelent location
Liked: Right on the beach, lovely location, friendly and helpfull staff.

Liked: Staff were lovely- setting is heaven - sunsets are remarkable, location is off beaten path but 8-10 minutes to old town - the ferry was lovely snd very inexpensive.
Sleeping on the beach
Liked: make sure you get a room with sea view, you will wake up right looking on the beach and you can go to sleep and wake up with the noise of the waves, which is really a unique sensation. Great breakfast. Excellent location right on the beach. Yet you are only 6' away from the airport (so also good if you arrive late of leave very early, which was the case for us).

If you go with high expectations, they will be satisfied!
Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is located right by the beach. Our room was facing the side of the hotel but we still had a partly view of the beach. The rooftop is an absolute plus, great sea view, very comfortable seats, good food/drinks and the staff is very friendly here too. The rooms have aircon, however we didn't use it much and slept with the window open with no noise issues. The room has been cleaned daily and towels changed regularly. We didn't have breakfast here so I can not comment on that. The beach is right there and it's free. The hotel provides umbrellas and beach towels upon request. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday, I defintely reccomend Praia de Faro and this hotel. Defintely worth the money, I would stay here again if I ever go back.
