Great for a stay in Faro

Liked: The apartment is as described. Very clean and well fitted out. A short walk to the centre with many good restaurants close by. A handy mini supermarket beneath the building too.

Clean, comfortable, with great service and good location - all you need for relaxing stay

Liked: Great contact with the host, clear instructions, friendly and available staff, warm welcome. Apartment was super clean, comfortable and specious. We received a welcome package with essential groceries and snacks (which was great as we arrived on hot Sunday afternoon, the shops were already closed, and it was good not to be obliged to search for essentials for that first evening and next morning). There were cold drinks and aircon, comfortable beds and great space for everyone.

Disliked: The only small inconvenience was one (out of two) showers being clogged. The owner reacted immediately, but even without fixing it we were fine using the second shower.

Good stay but the property is overpriced and is very overrated on Booking.com

Liked: Well stocked older apartment, authentic middle-class neighborhood and a short walk to the old town.

Disliked: Location is in an odd area with many abandoned buildings, a prison, and the odd burnt out car. Yet the location is rated as 9.5 on Booking. To be fair after you walk past the prison there is a very upmarket shopping mall. We enjoyed being in a regular community that actually felt safe after a few days due to lovely neighborhood people.

A wonderful stay with warm host

Liked: The host is awesome. Very warm welcome and great recommendations of local restaurant. The whole apartment is so huge, clean and comfortable. The stay was very pleasant and exceed my expectation. It close to the train station and easy access to travel to Lagos and Olhão. Overall, I will recommend this apartment to all my friends. I hope to stay here again when I visit Faro next time.

  Disliked: Nothing. 100% Like

  Great stay and host

Liked: The location is great, just a short stroll to the city centre. The property itself is great. Tastefully decorated, cosy and perfectly clean. We as a family had a very pleasant stay.

Disliked: I can't think of anything
