  Liked: The design of the space was absolutely darling — fresh, modern, and full of charm. Staying in Old Town Lagos made it even more special. The location was perfect: close enough to walk to the town center, restaurants, and the marina, yet far enough to enjoy peace and quiet. We loved that it was only about a mile to two stunning beaches. The washing machine was a huge bonus, and I even used ChatGPT to help me figure out the settings! I also absolutely loved the bathtub — it looked so inviting, and although we didn’t have time to use it, hopefully we will in the future. The bathrobes were such a lovely touch and made the experience feel even more special, like a boutique hotel stay. The welcome treats were another highlight — delicious pastries, fresh bread with olive oil, and a bottle of wine for a cozy evening in.

  Disliked: The only thing I didn’t love was the staircase. While it fit beautifully with the aesthetic, it felt a bit unsteady and took some care to navigate. The host’s note about not carrying luggage upstairs made perfect sense once we arrived.

  Liked: Excellent location for exploring Lagos and the it's nearby coastline. The decor created a cosy atmosphere, the amenities were excellent and the generous provisions from the host added to the welcome feeling.

  Disliked: The spiral staircase to the bedroom.
