Historic centre
Inside the walls, the pedestrian streets of Lagos have restaurants, bars, shops and small places to stay. It is the liveliest area, with nightlife in summer.

Towards Ponta da Piedade
South of the centre, the road to the lighthouse passes the beaches of Dona Ana, Camilo and Pinhão. There are hotels and apartments with sea views, about twenty minutes' walk from the centre.
Marina and Meia Praia
On the other side of the marina, Meia Praia is a beach several kilometres long with resorts and apartments. You cross to the centre by a footbridge next to the marina.
