  A disappointing stay due to a damp-smelling apartment, heating problems and unfulfilled promises

  Liked: The maintenance technician responded promptly once we reached reception the following morning. The heating issue was resolved within about an hour.

  Disliked: We had to change apartments shortly after arrival because of a technical issue. The replacement apartment, 24C, was on the ground floor facing north, received little direct sunlight and had an unpleasant smell of damp. We immediately requested another apartment through housekeeping and were promised a response, but none came during our stay. On the first evening, the room temperature was only 19°C and we could not get the heating to work. Our calls to reception went unanswered until the following morning. The follow-up promised after departure never happened. Despite repeated requests and reception’s promise, we still had not received our invoice after 14 days. The hotel declined financial compensation and offered only a discount and a possible upgrade for a future stay, which we will not use as we do not intend to return.

  Excellent service, apartments and location. We’d go back there. Also huge discount garnered by booking thru booking.com

  Liked: Really well thought out design of the apartments, amazing staff, great location (though you do need a car to explore) and excellent daily service.

  Disliked: Very little to dislike other than the building of the new hotel but even that wasn’t too intrusive.

  A wonderful and comfortable stay in an elegant, well-equipped apartment, with a few minor issues tha

  Liked: The apartment was spacious, modern, very clean, and beautifully designed, with a wonderful view and a peaceful atmosphere. I especially liked the fully equipped kitchen, which included an oven, dishwasher, cookware, utensils, and almost everything needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, the facilities and comfort were excellent, and the experience was more than wonderful.

  Disliked: The only issue was the noticeable presence of ants in the room. The way the problem was handled was also not very professional, as the housekeeping staff sprayed aerosol insecticide inside the room while food and fruit were still on the table. It would have been better to use a proper ant bait or powder near the source of the ants. The only other thing missing from the apartment was a washing machine.
