  The stay was adequate

  Liked: The pool area was nice but water was cold. The sea view room was really just a pool view room. The room size was good but the beds were singles instead of a double bed for 2 people.

  Disliked: The bathroom was non-functional in terms of counterspace/ cabinet for toiletry/ make-up storage. The pool towel pickup process was less than ideal in terms of location from pool area to pickup towels and policy regarding only 2 towels per day. For a resort, this seems very limited.

  As always, I enjoyed my stay, I have visited since opening in 2009, had a wedding & two large partys

  Liked: Pool is excellent, breakfast was excellent, my room should have had a sea view, but it did not, my drinks fridge was left empty for 3 days & my room service trays not collected fro 24/36 hours.

  Good for tours and families for basic comfort

  Liked: Nice pool area, helpful reception staff, decent breakfast choice available, free parking was nice.

  Disliked: Unaware that it was a family style and organized tour oriented property, and it had that kind of vibe. It was pretty basic and lacked any hint of sophistication. Very long corridors to reach the rooms. Insufficient number and location of elevators. Car fumes from beach road were strong if you sat in that vicinity. Outdated and in need of modernization. I did not find it a particularly good value compared to other hotels in the Algarve we stayed at.

  Wonderful hotel, but young receptionist not kind

  Liked: I spent my birthday at this hotel, and the staff kindly upgraded me to a better room with sea view. The room was big and with a big balcony and the hotel is located next to the beach.

  Disliked: Several team members struggled with English, but more concerning was the unprofessional conduct of one receptionist - a young Portuguese woman with dark curly hair. When I contacted reception regarding a hair dryer missing from my room, she handled the call with noticeable hostility. Although maintenance assisted me promptly, she called back shortly after, offered no greeting, bluntly stated, 'You found the dryer, huh?' and hung up. This level of customer service is unacceptable, and I was shocked by her conduct.

  Liked: In general staff was very friendly, except for the lady at the inside swimming pool area that is doing everything to ruin any holiday feeling and wants to be as unfriendly as possible. For the rest of staff was super nice. I really liked the swimming pool area outside and kids club, who were doing amazing job. Our daughter loved doing go-cards, playing in the playground, etc. Breakfast was very nice and with a very nice place outside.

  Disliked: Kids swimming pool plastic slides should be checked as they seem to be very fast and kids there got some injuries as the swimming pool is very undeap. Also swing is moving a lot, some maintenance is needed to keep it safe. Keep clear rules for the inside swimming pool as the swimming lady we had 2 days were coming to us with new restrictions every day. If kids are not allowed, should be stated for adults only.

  Pleasant stay

  Liked: Good location, walking distance to city centre and beach on the other side of the road. Nice view from the sea view room. Nice pool. Free refreshment drinks in the room’s fridge which were refilled. A lot of free parking available outside the hotel, you can also park underground for an extra charge.

  Disliked: Spa staff not very approachable, spa is free to use but you don’t get robes unless you buy a treatment, you also need to wear cap to use the spa swimming pool. Breakfast buffet not always refilled.
