Where to stay in Lisbon
Liked: we had a 2 room suite and kitchinet, perfect covering our needs
Disliked: location, friendliness of staff
Liked: We stayed in an apartment connected to the hotel. This means you can access everything inside the hotel if u chooses to. For the most part, the staff in the hotel are caring and professional. The only place we didn't care for was the Roof top bar. It is actually a lovely place to have a drink. We just had a waiter who really didn"t care to serve us well. My husband ordered a red wine from the Douro. It was terrible. I had a margarita which also was not good. We had just been to the Douro and had quite a few wines from that area which were very good. So who knows why the wine at the roof top was not good. That said, overall this is a lovely hotel. It is located in a quiet neighborhood sutrounded by excellent restaurants and shops. I would definely recommend this hotel to anyone.
Liked: Weeks have gone by, and they still haven't deposited our warranty refund into our account. Yet they had said it would be deposited in two or three days. On Booking, they say they're pet-friendly. But when you arrive at the hotel, they yell at you to pick up your dog. They're a bit rude.
Disliked: The entrance to the parking lot is quite narrow. The parking lot and the lodging facility are located in separate buildings. You have to walk from the hotel to the lodging facility. Unfortunately, there are quite a few stairs along the way. You have to carry your luggage up the stairs all the time. This is quite annoying. The rooms are a bit old.
Liked: - Appartments are managed jointly with the Altis Grand Hotel, so we could use gym, pool, rooftop bar - reception happily helping with any requests - location close to Avenida station and to Bairro Alto
Disliked: - the rooms could take some refurbishment, furniture is a bit dated
Great location, excellent value for money, right in the center of Lisbon
Liked: Good location located between 2 metro stations from 2 different lines. Good and comfortable room, very clean, housekeeping did a very good job. We had plenty of space in the kitchen to self-cater and prepare meals. Fully-equipped kitchen. Everything worked very well in the room, from AC, water heater, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, etc.. The only thing missing was a clothes washing machine, but it did not bother us.
Disliked: The floor in our room was very squeaky and the furniture could have used some refurbishing, but other than that I have no complaints.

Liked: Altis Suites was a wonderful choice for our stay in Lisbon. The apartment was comfortable and spacious, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was also excellent, making it easy to explore Lisbon and get around the city. The hotel’s swimming pool and spa were a lovely bonus and added to the overall experience, especially after a busy day exploring the city. Special thanks to the staff who were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay, which made us feel very well looked after. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would happily recommend Altis Suites to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Lisbon. We would definitely consider coming back!
Disliked: The apartment could benefit from some minor renovations and updates, but this did not take away from our overall experience or the comfort of our stay.
