  Liked: The hotel staff are extremely welcoming and very friendly. The hotel is beautiful. The breakfast was good, there was a lady playing the piano during breakfast, so lovely. Would definitely stay again. Excellent location too.

  Liked: Beautiful traditional Hotel. Great position The breakfast was excellent.

  Disliked: There were a lot of stairs. The room was supposed to be River view, which you could see if you leant off the balcony. Bathroom was very small..

  Clean, friendly and perfectly located

  Liked: Good breakfast with lots of space to find wherever you felt comfortable to sit and eat. Staff were friendly. Hotel was super clean everywhere. Gorgeous view from the balcony. Great location - easy to walk to metro which has direct line to airport and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, including Time Out Market.

  Disliked: Check out was difficult as reception wasn't open and I wasn't told what to do with the key so had to go hunting for a member of staff. Window shutters didn't close properly so let in a lot of light which would have made it difficult to sleep if I had stayed longer and/or hadn't been so tired from the hills!

  A lovely residence to explore Lisbon

  Liked: Very pretty old palace style residence converted to a boutique hotel

  Disliked: There could be more accessible wall plugs near the bed to charge phones and bathroom mirror light would help
