Guest reviews
Exceptional
Clean and spacious room close to the city centre
Liked: Excellent room which was very clean and spacious, with an ample bathroom and well-sized shower. Easy-to-use air con as well which was needed in the hot weather! Very well located not far from the city centre and with easy access to the castle.
Disliked: Limited selection at breakfast, although the available options were pleasant and can request eggs to be prepared. Limited facilities beyond the room and breakfast area (e.g. no bar area, no restaurant) so better if you plan to spend more time out in the city.
Very pleasant
Liked: Fine
Good breakfast, lovely staff
Liked: Good location (includes walking uphill to reach it but is accessible by car), good breakfast, lovely and helpful staff
Disliked: I had a great room with a balcony but upon entering the room there was a strong smell of sewage. The smell never went away fully during my 5 day stay. It went away when I opened the balcony door and ran the AC but would come back again.
Been staying here for 5 years …will be back soon
Liked: Location Staff Breakfast Price
Disliked: All good
Pleasurable stay in Lisbon, but unexceptional hotel
Liked: Excellent location in downtown Lisbon, and surprisingly quiet
Disliked: Hot water was intermittent and not available when I wanted to shower at about 8.30am
Been here 4 times over the past 5 years
Liked: Location Breakfast Staff
Disliked: Very hard to book 6 nites
