Liked: We liked how spacious it is and the tile on the walls. The staff was easy to communicate with and tried to help fix some of the issues we experienced. They were pleasant to speak with and I truly think they want to help. It was quiet in the bedrooms and the beds are comfortable. The location is great if you like being in the center of the touristy area.
Disliked: The shower head in one bathroom is too heavy for the hardware that it attaches too. As a result, the shower head moves to the left which is quite annoying when trying to shower. We appreciate the attempt to fix this, but in the end it didn’t fix the issue. We didn’t want to deal with maintenance people in our apartment for a second time so we just dealt with it the best we could. The other shower was extremely moldy when we arrived and we appreciate the host’s effort to clean it while we were there. It still had mold afterwards but not nearly as much. The apartment has a lot of potential but needs repairs and better maintenance. In one of the bedrooms there is no space for your luggage. It’s a really tight fit.
Fantastic, best place I ever stayed in
Liked: It is a beautiful apartment with everything we needed. There are towels, a dishwasher with pods, a coffee machine with some pods, a kettle, a cooker, glasses, dishes, cutlery, etc. Very useful to have a fridge and two bathrooms.
Disliked: It is on the third floor, and these are very tall floors, so at the end of the day those stairs feel a little tiring. That's a very minor issue, and it is clearly indicated that there is no lift. But it is something to keep in mind for people that are less mobile.

Disliked: Quite noisy at night
Liked: The aprtment was clean, well furnished and comfortable. It is in the center with a lot of bars and restaurants.
Disliked: It is loud at night which you expect when staying in such a location, but we were not informed of the noise from the restaurant below that starts from around 7 am. For a full hour I would hear plate cleaning, stacking etc.... very negative. Especially that the back room window is old fashioned and not double glazed. In addition it does not stay open, so fresh air ventilation is impossible.

Liked: Very central location to vibrant portion of the city, close to the Santa Justa elevator, promenade with many restaurants and the square at the water front. Appartment was well furnished, clean. A washer is available, a washer/dryer combo would have been prefered, as well as a bit of laundry soap to use. Air conditioning in living room and bed room.
Disliked: Rather expensive. Twice a power outage on day 2, and day 3. We had to wait 2 hours the first time for keys, because the stairway entrance and the appartment entrance are both electronic. We were effectively locked inside a dark appartment, as leaving without keys was not an option, risking no entry for the night. Since no estimated time could be provided for power-on, we requested management to start planning for alternative accomodations with power, e.g. hotel nearby. This was declined as it was 'not their problem' we were out of power. That is exactly what a guest does not want to hear....Power turned on again at 1am, after outage of approx 5 hours.
