Very good
Quiet environment, but the cleanliness standards need significant improvement
Liked: Quiet and peaceful, perfect for a one night travel.
Disliked: The room was not cleaned properly. The bed sheets showed signs of previous use, giving the impression that they had not been changed. The bathroom is in need of renovation, and some skirting boards were loose or detached, requiring maintenance.
Very convenient to the airport for a one night stay
Liked: Proximity to airport is helpful. There are good restaurants near by, like Richard's Garden. The improvements to the property to transform it into a rooming house are adequate.
Disliked: The bathrom, shower and sink were too small. No outlet near the bed for phone charging at night. Lacking in aesthetic appeal, (but the price is right). A bit difficult to figure out access the first time around.

Great spot, fun vibe, and clean
Liked: Stayed here for an overnight layover and loved it. The location is an easy walk from the airport. The space is unique and I imagine that all the rooms have their own vibe. This room had the best shower in all my travel in Portugal. Easy walk to the metro station to get into central Lisbon. Loved my big window.
Disliked: Not unique to this place; The mattresses in Portugal were pretty hard.
On appearance charming, with free snacks and drinks. But not enough hot water for a shower!
Liked: I got in late and was tired and hungry, and didn't feel up to going back out for food. The hosts provided a tray with various snack foods that I was very grateful for. It provided me with a small meal and saved me having to go back out for dinner. Also, the location was excellent for a 16-minute walk to the airport and was a clean and spacious room. It was a quiet and neighbourly area despite being so close to busy roads and the airport. Downstairs, there was a fridge stocked with bottled water, cokes and beers free for guests.
Disliked: Two minutes into what I hoped would be a relaxing shower before bed, the water went tepid and I was unable to get hot water again. I finished with an uncomfortable shower that was on the cool side. In a hotel room, the least I would expect would be hot water for a shower. Also, some of the wall hooks were so poorly mounted (no anchors) that they were either falling out or seriously considering it. I had to be very careful hanging up towels etc. Though the decor was charming and arty/slightly Bohemian, general infrastructure was similarly poorly installed or of shoddy construction. The map provided to locate the property was unclear and I had no idea what direction to walk in from the airport, and my satnav didn't recognise the address. The host eventually pinged me a pin and I was able to find the property, and access procedure was clear and as described. If the shower had had hot water, I could've forgiven everything else.
It’s self service Close to airport but not that nice
Liked: Close to the airport and clean.
Disliked: Didn’t realize until after booking it was self service Was told booking.com would send a code the day before which they never did. I contacted the property and they sent it. Location is close to the airport. Said it was safe to walk to the airport i asked if there was sidewalks but never got an answer. The walk is actually very easy and there is sidewalks and cross walks. Not easy to find even with Google Maps from Metro. Nothing around there to eat. Would not recommend
