Liked: The house is a very short distance from the ferries, train station, restaurants and market. It’s a brilliant location if you don’t have a car. The apartment had a balcony to sit on, comfortable bedrooms and lovely roof terrace.
Homely, bright, well located apartment
Liked: The 3 bedroom apartment is very well situated in a residential area, close to the promenade, a grocery shop, cafes, and restaurants. The pier where the boats for the islands depart is a short walk. The apartment is homely and well equipped. There is a good supply of towels and linen. Tiago met us with some supplies, which was a nice touch. He gave us some good recommendations for places to eat. There is a lovely rooftop area to relax, as depicted in the photos.
Disliked: The lighting in the stairwell and the pillows could be better. There was 1 decent neck pillow, which was appreciated. The beds in the 3rd bedroom are quite low...just something to be aware of. Perfect for children.
Liked: Location is excellent and accommodation too. The roof terrace is great, we had lovely bbq there. Got to give a special mention to our man Tiago who went above and beyond with his help for us. We had lovely welcome pack on arrival which was so thoughtful and appreciated ( especially the wine!) This place is a real home from home, everything you need is there and more. Definitely stay Casa au Cuba again.
