  Beautiful, island home!

  Liked: The location was excellent- walking distance to restaurants etc. The amount of space was perfect- places to hang out/spread out, a kitchen with enough tools to make our own dinner one night a lovely little outdoor space. Arruda was so welcoming- stayed to greet us even though we had a nighttime flight, gave us recommendations & stocked the kitchen with local fruits, cheese, bread and was responsive via WhatsApp throughout our visit.

  Disliked: The neighbors have dogs that bark a lot and parking was a little tricky when we first arrived. Both of these things are small..I would reccommend this place 100%!!

  Beautiful place with beautiful garden

  Liked: Beautiful place, so much love for detail and the kitchen had everything we needed. We even were given local cheese and grapes and wine etc. The host was so lovely, we could text her with our questions and got qick answers. The garden was the heart of the whole place,we felt very comfortable here!

  Disliked: The host made us aware that roaches try to enter the house at night so we kept the windows and insect screens shut. At some point we thought it's ok to open the bathroom window for a while after taking a shower but 2 made it inside the house. It wasn't a big deal though because we could use the vacuum. Also it was a bit far to walk to the center. Other than that we were completely happy with our stay at Arrudas House and would definitely come back.
