  Liked: I would highly recommend staying at the Atlantic house while in Ponta delgada. It was in a great location in easy walking distance to the boardwalk, restaurants, the casino and more. It was clean and comfortable with plenty of space for many guests. On our arrival, the airconditioning was not functioning in the bedrooms. The owner tried to get it repaired right away, but there was a part that had to be ordered and would not arrive until our trip was over. We went to the department store and purchased fans. The owner felt terrible and kindly paid us for the fans we purchased (120 euro) and refunded us an additional 100 euro to compensate us for a problem that was out of their control to fix. Great customer service.

  Liked: Kitchen was awesome and fully equipped with almost everything we needed. Kitchen table and couch area was large and spacious. The natural light from the ceiling was my favorite. Thankfully the ac in the common area worked great.

  Disliked: The air conditioner in the bedrooms would only stay on for 2 mins.

  Spacious, modern and bright apartment in a central / convenient location

  Liked: Spacious apartment with well equipped kitchen and laundry facilities (washer-dryer) The skylight let natural light in at all times, The apartment is quiet despite busy streets nearby

  Disliked: We did enjoy our stay overall. However I had sent several messages to the property owner when we arrived to Ponta Delgada if there is a possibility of checking in earlier than 3pm since our overnight flight from Canada arrived early morning at 7am and we were all very tired. I understand that early checkin may not be possible. However, I would have liked to hear back from the owner, either « yes » or « no », but No answers. Also, prior to arrival, I had requested 2 extra pillows for my back due to a recent surgery, no answers either. Minor inconvenience: there was no wall hooks in both bathrooms to hang towels.

  Liked: The door was hard to find and the keys were tricky to unlock-more explanation on that would be helpful.

  Disliked: The beds were very thin-hard and could feel the mattress springs.
