  Very nice and big house needing a few improvements

  Liked: The house is gorgeous. Very spacious and open plan kitchen and living room area, a nice outside area where you can cook, have breakfast and sunbathe (in the sunnier days)

  Disliked: The house is big and can be uncomfortable. For the Wintertime, it would have required more heating and dehumifier appliances. We were seriously cold in the first few days. I'd also say communication from management was lacking — even though they were nice and helpful when we reached out to them, they failed to let us know about check-in with enough antecedence, they did not let us know about the one heater a priori, etc. The house could also use some extra cooking appliances and things of the sort. Such a big house should feel less empty. I also found it ridiculous that tea sachets and things had a price tag. It'd been a nice thing to offer guests, I've never seen anyone adding prices to such things

  The experience was horrible right from the start. The host reached out the day of arrival to tell us that we had to pay

  Liked: Enough space for two families, eight people.

  Disliked: The place was hot, humid and dark. It smelt moldy when you first walked in, like it had just gone through a flood. The bedrooms and washrooms were damp and humid. Also it was scorching hot as it did not have air conditioning. They did not have nets on the windows so when we opened the windows to cool down the place mosquitos got in and bit the whole family. There were cockroaches in the backyard flying around so it was hard for us to enjoy the outdoors. We were quite disappointed overall considering we paid a good dime for it.

  Liked: It is a modern house, well equipped, clean, spacious, with plenty of space in the back for grill or kids to play. Nice, quiet location. If you have a car it is close to Ponta Delgada, sandy beach but also to main island's spots. 2 separete bathrooms + a wc is an advantage for stay of 2 families (it is possible to extend to 9 beds with extra fee).

  Disliked: We stayed for a week in July when the price for rent was relatively high.

  Liked: Really spacefull house. Quiet location. Good beds with nice bedding linens and nice bathtowels. Very good and comfortable roller blinds for good sleep. Easy parking for 2 cars. Good access to the main roads across the island. Good wifi. Trash sorting boxes just outside the door.

  Disliked: There was no hot tube as promised in the description. Also the 3rd bathroom (the downstairś one) is just toilet (wc). Hence 4 people need to share 1 bathroom as the other full bathroom is in the bedroom for couple. So the main reason we ordered this house - to have own bathroom for every 2 people was not fulfilled. There were practically zero amenities in the kitchen (only 2 pcs for dishwasher, only very small amount of dish washig foam, 1 pcs of dishcloth....), no salt, no suger, no coffee - there were some staple foods but every piece (like coffe capsule for coffee maschine, every tea bag...) was priced and so you need to buy everything - never ever I had this experience in such type of house renting. There was not enough cooking pots (not big enough for 6 people - so we bought new frying pan + extra knife), also very small tea mugs. The oven is not properly fixed in the wall so every opening of the oven means you need to push it back. Also no potholders so you need to be extra carefull or use your own kitchen towel (as there was only 1 pcs for 6 people for 1 week stay). To make the story short - althought the house is spacey and modern the price versus the servis is not worthy.
