  Liked: Wonderful combination of comfort and historic touch

  Disliked: You have to be an experienced driver to enter an inner parking because of the steep z shaped rise but we have found a lot of parking space available outside in less than a minute walk

  Charming, welcoming, spacious and comfortable

  Liked: Absolutely charming and safe old home, both spacious indoors and outdoors, a lot of amenities, unique decorations, very welcoming hosts, and great pricing.

  Disliked: We didn’t seem to have a coffee machine but still had plenty of breakfast options not too far, so doesn’t really count as “not liked”.

  Very charming place with beautiful yard

  Liked: Very convenient location in Ribeira Grande. Such a charming place full of character and history, and the yard is large and beautiful. The owners were very kind.

  Disliked: Be aware that the stairs to the upstairs bedrooms are extremely steep, almost more like a ladder. Also the air conditioning is only downstairs

  Liked: Nice little villa in the middle of the island with great garden and BBQ area. Rustic enough to make your experience unique and authentic.

  Disliked: Some features could benefit from an update…and walking up and down the stairs in the middle of the night can be a bit challenging at times.

  Peaceful and beautiful stay! Exactly what we needed!
