  I found the place was very charming and quiet!

  Liked: The property is beautiful and very well maintained. Bed and room was very comfortable. Breakfast was great which included fresh fruit, fresh bread, yogurt, juice and coffee.

  Great place to relax

  Liked: Beautiful guesthouse, garden, pool and view. Very quiet. Spacious and bright room with balcony and AC. Great hosts.

  Amazing place (depending on your room)

  Liked: Beautiful guesthouse, garden, pool and view. Very quiet. Very clean. Great hosts.

  Disliked: Parking situation was a bit chaotic, but manageable. The room I stayed in my first night was extremely hot and had no AC which made it almost impossible to sleep (probably only a problem in summer). On top of this it is located between two bathrooms which doesn't help. I would not stay in this room again, but if you stay in any of the other rooms then it is a 10/10.

  Exceptional

  Liked: I enjoyed the environment and the relaxing atmosphere! It was perfect: the common rooms, the swimming pool, the garden with all the space for resting and, of course, our room - it was really spacious and with all the facilities possible. In addition, Praia do Ribeiro do Cabalo is really close and it's amazing.

  Very happy with the place over all!!

  Liked: It was very quiet and out of the way, but we like that, as we had a car. The hosts, Sophie and partner were very kind, friendly and accommodating for our needs. Good value for all it offered!! Enjoyed the breakfast!!

  Disliked: The room was a bit small, as we had luggage bags for our travels.

  Such a pleasant stay. Like being home!

  Liked: Being at the Calidris feels like home - in fact, it is a house. There is a nice garden with a hammock, benches, green grass to sit around and enjoy. The house overlooks green spaces and the Castle, which is so nice!
