Sesimbra's old town runs down to the town beach and the Santiago fort. Here are the restaurants, the fish market and the seafront promenade. Staying here means having the sea in front of you and doing everything on foot.

Towards Cabo Espichel
On the plateau that rises towards the cape there are developments, apartments and the odd hotel with a pool, more spacious and easier for parking. From here you drive down to the town in a few minutes.
The Arrábida hills
Between Sesimbra and Setúbal, the hills have country houses and quintas among pine woods and Mediterranean scrub, with coves such as Portinho da Arrábida close at hand. For travelling by car and looking for silence.
