Exceptional
Great place for a couples retreat
Liked: Everything: just great! I would go again and can recommend. And the seafood and beaches of Arrábida. What a treat!
Wonderful
Liked: The loveliest guest house, everything is so well thought about and nice attention to detail. Each room is decorated with a different theme of the area, the room I had was inspired by a military bunker and the bed was very comfy. The location was very ideal for walking to town and the port every but also getting transport to the stunning beaches nearby was so easy. Breakfast is nice and simple and they’re really Concious on not wasting food which is great. Always available on WhatsApp for anything you need, Maria and Fabiana were super attentive and sweet. Can’t wait to come back soon.
Wonderful
Liked: We had a wonderful time. Staff was very friendly and communication was easy and smooth via whatsapp. Our family room under the attic was superb, our kids loved it. We loved the overall feeling of the guesthouse, the pool and the surrounding terrace. It really is beautifully done. And we enjoyed Setubal and surroundings, many things to see and do! Breakfast was nice too. A perfect stay.
Staff were exceptional
Liked: The standout was the staff there, and in my case, most notably, Maria. Having contact with the property via WhatsApp was great, and Maria was fabulous and incredibly attentive in ensuring I had everything I needed for a great stay, even suggesting nearby restaurants as options for dining.
Disliked: My only criticism is just making the property easier to access when guests first arrive. The front door is locked, there is no bell and no sign. As staff aren't always available at the front desk it can make it very confusing and difficult for guests when they first arrive.
A wonderful stay with helpful staff. If I was being selfish I wouldn’t tell anyone how good it is!
Liked: Well appointed, comfortable beds, quality bedding and towels. Staff were lovely and so helpful. Great breakfast! Thank you.
Disliked: Some rooms are small so it’s difficult if you have a lot of luggage. No hanging for dresses. Check carefully which rooms are available to you and that they suit you.
A warm, welcoming and comfortable place to stay for exploring the area
Liked: I highly recommend Arrábida Guest House as a really comfortable base to explore the area. For those lazy days when you just want to chill, there's a lovely pool area that gets the sun (and some shade) all day long. Excellent choice at breakfast, very comfortable room and all beautifully furnished.
