"Still going strong"
Liked: The Setubal Ibis hotel is very easy to get too and from, there is plenty of safe parking. The staff are helpful and the hotel runs smoothly.The bed was very comfortable and there was a walk in shower which we prefer. A very good base for Birdwatchers.
Disliked: This Ibis hotel is beginning to show its age with signs of wear and tear.
Great location for visiting the Sado Estuary
Liked: Friendly and helpful staff. Decent breakfast. Other meals Ok to good (but are pre-prepared). Liked the garden and pool. On-site parking. Recently refurbished/ modernised. Good price/value.
Disliked: Dog barking in a nearby room! Location good for our purpose (birdwatching on the Sado Estuary) but not so good for visiting the town. Very small bedside shelf.
Disliked: Industrial area, The hotel is in need of TLC.
Liked: I have 3 times and it is decent
Disliked: The 2 nights we stayed, the hotel was filled with mosquitos
Liked: Cleanliness, staff very friendly helpful and polite.
Disliked: Full of midges or gnats at the pool area, also in the inside area across from reception. Perhaps better preparation ahead of the season next year to better tackle what seems to be a problem related to the area.
