  Liked: Nice location. A real farm compound. Comfortable. The hoat is very nice &friendly

  Woefully underwhelming, did not come close to meeting our expectations

  Disliked: Disclosure: The owner has dogs that have access to all areas of the property at all times. We were not made aware of this fact prior to booking. The owner forgot our arrival date, did not provide us a crib for our baby, event though it was requested prior to arrival (which she responded to), the kitchens in the apartment were dirty, under equipped, and their appliances were poorly kept (we had to wash dishes upon arrival, the state of one of the exhausts was a fire hazard). The property owner was uncompromising and stated several times that the property was her home in defense of her behavior, when asked to have her dogs not have unlimited access to our accommodations. When we brought up the cascading list of issues with her she told us she wanted us to leave in place of attempting any type of reconciliation.

  Liked: Charming-- historic building with beautiful garden and pool. Breakfast in the garden is a treat. Close to the Mateus estate and easy to reach and park. A cottage with two bedrooms is available, offering flexibility for families. Excellent hosts helped make our stay delightful.
