  Pleasant, modern apartment in a walkable area

  Liked: This is a really nice, modern, comfortable apartment in a nice, walkable area. Living room was perfect after a day walking around - to sit and watch tv, table to eat, convenient kitchen to cook and keep food cold in big fridge/freezer. Generally well stocked kitchen. Clothes and dish washer also very handy. The host reached out early to share information and responded quickly and they also provided really extensive recommendations for sightseeing and eating in the city. The closet with lots of cubbies and hangers was also great for staying organized. Not far to walk for ocean and sights. Several groceries and bakeries nearby. La Coruna is wonderful.

  Disliked: You need a working phone to get to the keys past the first door - not everyone coming from abroad has the right phone plan or a connection. Would be better to not need that - but once got in, I had keys for the rest of the time. Although kitchen is generally well stocked, adding olive oil and just a few more coffee pods would be excellent as it's a pain for a traveler to buy small enough quantities of these relatively cheap items (get stuck with leftovers). The stove is nice - induction - but sometimes can be tricky to get it on - it can lock and be difficult to get it out of that mode. One time I couldn't get it to turn on after a few attempts (I had used it a few times already), but luckily there is a microwave, so I switched to that just to keep moving along. I did not use the second room with the bunk bed. But noted, it's nice that it is steps and not a ladder to get to high bed, but they are a little steep, so keep that in mind if someone with mobility issues needs it.

  In short, a fantastic, modern, light and airy flat in a super location and a great host!

  Liked: We specifically chose the property as it was in our favourite area of La Coruña. It’s in a super convenient location, great buzz, vibe and local amenities. The apartment was lovely - lots of light, modern and really comfortable. The owner was also really helpful and very quick to respond to queries.

  Disliked: Everything was great, no criticisms and we’ll definitely be back again! Only comments we would make are: 1. that the property could do with a few more kitchen utensils, glassware, cups/mugs, tea clothes, oven gloves etc. etc. As it’s nice to be able to eat at home occasionally. 2. The mattress in the side street bedroom wasn’t as comfortable as the other bedroom. A bit too hard.

  Fabulous stay in beautiful A Coruña

  Liked: Fabulous stay in beautiful A Coruña. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and in a great location. Check in with the lock box for keys was easy - Daniel sent step by step instructions and a wonderful guide to the must see and do in the city. There are some lovely beaches within walking distance also.

  Disliked: Nothing to dislike! Just be aware there is no elevator so lots of stairs up to the apartment. Tricky if carrying heavy luggage or have mobility issues.

  Disliked: There were only 2 of us, and the hot water ran out while the 2nd person was having a shower.
