Exceptional
Liked: A perfect stop before beginning the Camino ingles
Perfect spot
Liked: Very clean room and well laid-out. The host was a very friendly guy, told me the bus route into the city and gave some advice on what to do and see. Good bathroom with a lovely shower.
Disliked: I guess some people might not like that it's 20 minutes by bus to the city centre but I was happy with the location
Very clean and quiet. A bit away from town, shops and restaurants for those on foot
Liked: The place was absolutely spotless. If you stood right at the window, there was a beautiful view across the bay. The bed was extraordinarily comfortable.
Disliked: The location was a bit of a challenge. Arriving “home” at 10 o’clock there were no restaurants or shops available within 15 minutes walk. If you’re walking the Camino, it’s about 5 km from the start, which could give you a good head start in the morning. It’s on the bus route, but sometimes buses don’t stop and the schedules rarely match that of Google maps My Spanish is lacking so communication was difficult. A bit of printed material might’ve been helpful, but those with Google navigational skills and Internet research will be fine
Good private room for the money, you get what you can expect
Liked: Clean, silent, fan in the room was nice, comfortable bathroom
Disliked: It is a bit outside of the city so you always need to take a bus or car. Also no kitchen available. Since you are on the uppermost floor, it can get pretty hot and there is no AC
Excellent value for the price
Liked: I had never stayed in a room without a private bathroom before—this was my first time—and everything went smoothly. The hotel owner was very pleasant and friendly.
Home away from home - sparkling clean
Liked: Feels like a home away from home, room is sparkling clean, its the kind of place where you can feel its loved by its owners. So staying there was super comforting, we also stayed there before starting our camino and it is along the path. Owner was also super enthusiastic and helpful, he recommended sight seeing places, and when he knew that we were walking the camino he made sure that we knew what we needed to prep, and all these is without us knowing spanish, and speaking thru the translator app. Would stay again 100%.
Disliked: Hot water in shower is limited so make sure to shower within 7 minutes, before hot water runs out.
