Wonderfully central apartment with fantastic views!
Liked: A stylish apartment right in the thick of the old city! We especially loved the views and the generous size of the unit.
Disliked: This is more of a note about hotels and apartments in Spain in general… Please provide fans!
Very stressful, plus from previous reviews nothing has been addressed since earlier reports going back to 2023
Liked: Location excellent, spacious property, sea views (no balcony)
Disliked: Access very difficult, no instructions/street map, in need of lots of maintenance/repairs, broken items and not working included - toilet seat, bar stool, exit sign, window blinds, lights, skirting boards, kitchen floor, electric window shutter, wall switches, etc. Corner of bed missing and cut leg on metal frame!!! Plus no support from Oktheway or property owner!!!
Neglected apt in what could be a spectacular living space
Liked: The apartment itself is certainly unique, with breathtaking views and a design that gives it a lot of character. Unfortunately, it feels dated and somewhat neglected.
Disliked: Before arriving, I requested an early check-in at 12:00, but this request was completely ignored. Booking.com then stated that check-in was available from 13:00, so we planned our arrival accordingly. However, when we arrived, the app-based access system did not function until 14:00, leaving us unable to enter the apartment for an hour. This was particularly frustrating as my partner urgently needed to use the toilet. Communication throughout was poor, and there seemed to be little concern about the inconvenience caused by the incorrect information. The access instructions were also unclear and unnecessarily complicated. The building has multiple elevators and several apartments with similar numbering, making it confusing to locate the correct apartment. The apartment itself is certainly unique, with breathtaking views and a design that gives it a lot of character. Unfortunately, it feels dated and somewhat neglected. There was dust in many areas, ants around the kitchen area and worktops, dirty windows that took away from the otherwise spectacular view, cracks in the paint and plaster, several broken or missing blind fittings, and many lights that simply did not work. What could be an exceptional apartment could be dramatically improved with some basic maintenance, repairs, and attention to cleanliness. At £128 for a single night, I do not feel it offers good value for money. While the views are undoubtedly the property's strongest feature, they were not enough to outweigh the issues we experienced. Overall, this was a disappointing stay. I would not return and was ultimately glad that we had only booked for one night.
Large place for bigger groups, service needs improvement
Liked: Very spacious place. Everything was very big and with lots of light. Perfect location to explore the city, close to the old town.
Disliked: The apartment is already a bit dated and old, it was probably refurbished a while back. The issue we had was getting into the place. When we called we were not told how to get in, but that we need to pay the city tax before anything else happens. Another neighbour let us into the building and after some time we found the right staircase - it is to the left of the main one. We then got into the flat via electronic key and found a fob that we could use to get into the building after visiting the city. Onboarding could definitely improve, but the flat was spacious. I wouldn’t however pay the overpriced rate stated on AirBnB, but the one from Booking.com was more realistic for the value provided.

Liked: just location is good. The facility officer cursed at me on the phone because I couldn't open the door. Then they helped me because I called the police teams.
