  Excellent 10 day stay in October 2026

  Liked: I very much enjoyed my stay at Cabot Las Velas. I stayed here with friends for a short holiday in October 2026. I had my own accommodation (studio) on the second floor. The studio was spacious, providing a cooking and an eating area, a comfy seating area, a comfy double bed and a large sunny balcony with table and four chairs. The tekevision provided a good range of channels and streaming platforms. English channels included BBC1 London ( so we were able to keep up with The Traitors!) and BBC2 Wales. The studio was cleaned and towels renewed every other day. The swimming pool and outdoor seating area were well set out and the laundry area was useful for washing clothes if needed. The staff at Cabot Las Velas were very knowledgeable and helpful. We hired a car for two days and the staff were helfpful in holding the keys for return.

  Disliked: One small thing was that in my accommodation there was no wardrobe, only a hanging rail, and therefore I had to hang up my clothes in the open. There was also a lack of hanging hooks in the bathroom. While there were facilities which sold drinks (soft and alcohol), sweets and icecreams, there was no café on site. The reception did serve very good coffee, but a small café area would have been nice. Cabot Las Velas is a little way out of Puerto de Pollenca. My friends are particularly fond of walking and did not find the 15 minute walk into the centre difficult. I, on the other hand, have asthma and found the walk more difficult at times. I therefore made use of the buses, the stops for which were 4 minutes from the hotel, or taxis which were reasonably priced.

  Excellent studio apartment

  Liked: Super clean and well appointed studio, perfect for just me (Or a couple) with the added bonus of a balcony and a roof terrace with loungers and tub.

  Disliked: No bike storage outside of the room, and a little road noise. But minor issues.

  Liked: The room is clean and spacious, and the decoration is well selected. I like the dark green color. The entire hotel is well designed—it feels like walking in a forest from the reception to the room. There is plenty of parking.

  Disliked: There were some bugs inside the room.

  Liked: Chalupa nás mile překvapila svou příjemnou atmosférou. Je útulná, čistá a velmi dobře vybavená pro pohodlný pobyt. Krásným místem k odpočinku je zahrádka s terasou a grilem, kde jsme trávili příjemné večery. Je vidět, že se o chalupu majitelé s láskou starají. Rádi se sem znovu vrátíme a pobyt můžeme jen doporučit.

Good to know

Cleaning service is offered on alternate days, during the summer months (May to October).

Cabot las velas is partially open during the winter months (November to April) with some limitations in Reception and Housekeeping services.

Reception is available a few hours a day, depending on occupancy. Check-in details should be arranged with the hotel prior to arrival.

The cleaning service will not be available for stays up to 7 nights. In case of a longer stay, cleaning will be performed once every 7 days. Any additional needs will be taken care of upon request.Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.
