  Liked: The host was very welcoming, even though we had a delayed flight and very late arrival. We found street parking nearby. We were heading straight on the next day, so didn't get to enjoy the terraces, but am sure they are lovely.

  Disliked: The smell of cat pee is what has reduced the score. I have 5 cats at home, so am a cat lover, but it's still a shame that the smell lets the property down a little as it is a great home stay in a very lovely place.

  Disliked: ¡El trato es tan malo! Reservé por la mañana y viajé de Sevilla a Alora y llevé la carretera de montaña hasta que llegué por la noche cansado, cuando llamé al dueño, su número no funcionó y me quedé allí durante dos horas, hasta que recibí un mensaje: ¡Lo sentimos por la plenitud de habitaciones! No lo recomiendo

  Liked: the blue room with bath (habitacion azul) is small but fantastic, nicely furnished, very special! Even more special the big roofterrace with view over village & landscape. The Lady of the house lives also in the house and is very caring & helpful. Thanks

  The wonder that is Penny

  Liked: Penny herself is a warm and friendly lady. Her home is great and quirky. My room was as good as any hotel room, with dressing gown,toiletries, hairdryer and water provided in the room. I also had free access to her kitchen. Her roof terrace is amazing! The location of her house is very central for everything, in the older historic part of Álora. Penny has a therapy and massage business. I had a deep tissue massage, which was brilliant. She knows her onions.

  Disliked: Didn't dislike anything. There were 4-5 cats but they didn't bother me.
