Where to stay in Álora: the best areas

The town, between the castle and La Encarnación

Álora spreads across a hillside, with the castle remains at the top and the church of La Encarnación on the Plaza Baja. Staying in the old town lets you walk up to the castle at sunset and have bars and shops close by. The Málaga Cercanías train stops at the town's station, in the lower part by the river.
