Liked: A truly special place – highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We spent 12 wonderful days at Sol y Monte and it was honestly one of the best holiday experiences we have ever had. From the moment we arrived, Bob and Nathalie made us feel incredibly welcome. They are wonderful hosts — warm, friendly and genuinely caring, without ever being intrusive. The B&B itself is a little hidden gem. The peaceful location in the Andalusian mountains, beautiful views and relaxing atmosphere make it the perfect place to escape from everyday life. The pool is absolutely fantastic, especially after a day of exploring the area. We also highly recommend choosing the breakfast option. Breakfast was excellent, beautifully prepared and something we looked forward to every morning. Everything was clean, comfortable and clearly looked after with great attention to detail. But what makes Sol y Monte really special is the atmosphere and the hospitality of Bob and Nathalie. After 12 days, we left with wonderful memories and genuinely did not want to leave. We would happily come back and would definitely recommend Sol y Monte to anyone looking for peace, beautiful surroundings and a truly personal experience. Thank you, Bob and Nathalie, for making our holiday so special! ❤️

nice, but remote and not cost effictive
Liked: had to pay extra for breakfast, so didnt bother after 2 days, it wasnt value for money. The B&B was beauifull and quite, but very very remote. Too far off the beaten track
Disliked: having to pay for breakfast, and too remote. no air-con in room. having to keep asking for coffee and sugar

Amazing peacefulness and warm welcome within a short drive from Malaga
Liked: Sol y Monte is a family run B&B. It is very private and peaceful place. We felt really welcome and were spoiled with milkshakes for breakfast:) Sol y Monte has a nice swimming pool on the top of the mountain which was especially amazing after dark. Nice spot for watching falling stars by the way! There is a dried river down the hill which was perfect for a couple of hours hike during our stay. My 11 years old son described the overall stay in just one word - the Jackpot:)) It was a pitty the rest of the days were fully booked already
Disliked: We had a fun ride to get there with our rental car that was small and not suited for country roads - probably from time to time there are some upset guests. For us it made the trip just more remarkable, though:)

Liked: A wonderful place. Wonderful Nathalie and Bob. If you're dreaming of a great vacation, away from the city, quiet, peaceful and close to nature, I RECOMMEND it. The best vacation ever. Delicious breakfasts, clean accommodations, comfort, and luxury. We are come back for sure!
Wonderful, worth the drive, away from busy touristic places
Liked: Wowww❤️ If you need peace & quiet this is where you should go. Beautiful mountain resort with pool, self service bar with beer, wine etc. Couple from Netherlands Nathalie and Bob are amazing hosts and we fell in love with their dogs too 😀 rooms are not big but they are clean and there is Everything you need, including coffee maker. You can also enjoy breakfast on your own terrace. Road to the B&B is a rustic mountain road but we had a small Toyota aygo and we were still able to get there. I would recommend 4x4 👍 This place is 20 minutes away from Álora village and about 40-50 minutes from Caminito del Rey.
Disliked: Just so you know, there are wasps around the area, but I survived and still loved it even tough I’m afraid of them 😅🐝 Nathalie gave me electric fly bat and that worked
