Perfect Spanish Retreat
Liked: We had a wonderful stay at Barranca de la Barca. The location was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking scenery and a peaceful atmosphere that made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. Our room was lovely, and we especially loved the unique outdoor shower beneath the olive tree—it was such a special touch and one of the highlights of our stay. The breakfast was fabulous, and the veiw from the breakfast table was simply breathtaking. Liz was a fantastic host—kind, attentive, and always happy to help. She made everything so easy and made our stay even more enjoyable. Thank you, Liz! 😊 We would 100% recommend staying at Barranca de la Barca. It truly couldn't have been better, and we can't wait to return.

Liked: Wonderful stay at La Barranca de la Barca. Liz was so welcoming, she made us feel at home immediately. Beautiful accommodation, rustic and traditional. Extremely comfy bed. The outdoor shower with a fantastic view was unique! Fabulous The breakfast on the patio with the best view of the castle. The garden had some gorgeous plants, trees and many cacti and succulents. The welcoming committee of Liz's dogs was just adorable but equally they are not intrusive if you dont like dogs. We enjoyed dips in the pool. It was a great base to visit Alora and the surrounding area. We had a great stay and hope to visit again one day, thank you Liz.

Liked: Liz is a fantastic host, nothing was too much trouble, so welcoming! The property is beautiful and the views stunning. Only negative was the rain which, unfortunately, Liz couldn't do anything about 😉. Highly recommend, thank you Liz!
Beautiful rural location, little gem
Liked: Unique, pretty rural property with a relaxing shared pool & great views. Owner lovely, very helpful & friendly. We had an early start for the Caminito Del Rey walk (around 45 min drive away), a breakfast pack up with fresh orange was prepared for us, excellent!
