Fabulous
Ideal for a few days right in the heart of the action
Liked: Modern check in. Clean. Excellent location. Late checkout (12pm)
Disliked: Parking is a little difficult to locate, but once you are familiar it is a short walk. There was a festival on when I stayed which reduced access to the nearest car park.
One night in Besalu
Liked: The hotel is very central, well run and very clean. Breakfast was simple but good. The owner was courtious, when we met her, as we were leaving. There is a mini-market a few doors down for water etc. All in all it was a positive stay.
Disliked: place for 2 luggages was not adequate. I had asked specifically for 2 luggage racks, or similar. We travelled for 2 weeks in summer heat, so we carry a 20k luggage each. The hotel seemed deserted unlike the photos on bookings. Chairs and tables outside the hotel were thus unused as the restaurant was closed, the whole time. We saw one person at the end of our visit. This online check-in thingy is taking away human communication and hospitality. I believe it is nice to be welcomed and introduced to ssurroundings by a member of staff.
Liked: Confortable
Excellent stay in Besalu!
Liked: Lovely location and the helpful and friendly staff were excellent. Very clean room and breakfast was simple but good.
Disliked: We’d have loved a kettle!
Great value and helpful staff
Liked: It was well located and Noelia was very helpful
Liked: Open network
Disliked: No bar or terrace
