  A nice stay, overall

  Liked: This was a very nice stay. The location of the room is very convenient for strolls around the old city. The room was clean enough, the area is quiet and it was very easy to check in at Letoh hotel.

  Disliked: The room was a bit small and there was a backside view, both not in accordance to the high price. I would also enjoy a coffee machine and a small fridge.

  Liked: The staff was extremely helpful, kind and ready to help you in anything. The location is great, in the center. Close to shops and public transport. The room was clean, comfortable and nice. Getting into the hotel and the room was pratical. We also had a personal welcome message with some chocolate that we appreciated a lot! Sure to be back soon!

  A perfect spot to enjoy the Casco Viejo

  Liked: Excellent location, very clean, restaurants and cafés (and very popular bakery) right nearby. Tea and coffee facilities were very much appreciated. Good spacious and comfortable area to relax after exploring the surrounding area.

  Disliked: The air freshener in the entry and corridor was over-strong, but it did not affect the room.

  Interesting staying in Bilbao, very proud peole with their roots, and with their language- Euskara

  Liked: The location was excellent, in the heart of the old part of town, near the cathedral and surrounded by nice and cosy small cafes and restaurants. Just on the side of the hotel was a restaurant with great traditional food. And a pleasant promenade to the Guggenheim museum.

  Fine for the tech savvy who don't mind the lack of service

  Liked: The hotel is in the heart of Old Town Bilbao, on a street filled with restaurants and bars. I've stayed here multiple times before when it was under family ownership and felt very secure and comfortable.

  Disliked: The hotel no longer has desk staff. The "desk" is in a hotel down the block. There are also no land line phones in the rooms, so if there were some sort of emergency it could be difficult to get assistance. It's geared around being very gadget savvy, which might be fine for a younger person but made it difficult for me. Everything was on QR codes, including the WIFI password, which I couldn't access without being on the internet. Frustrating. Had I been aware when I made the reservation that there would be no hotel presence in the actual building I would have stayed either in the main hotel or somewhere else. It was disappointing since I'd enjoyed my previous stays here so much.

  Experience at Select Bilbao

  Liked: Location and room was clean and functional.

  Disliked: The description on booking.com suggested a manned reception, an option for breakfast however this was not the case. This wad nit communicated till day of arrival, a walk to a diffetent hotel to check in and if you required anything a nothet ealk to the othrr hotel, no facilities for the option of breakfast and the cafe's and bars outside the Select Bilbao were not open everyday early enough for breakfast particularly if you wanted to sit outside.
