  Total waste of time and money!

  Disliked: There is no personal contact with the host. Everything is carried out via telephone. We arrived to find that we had to retrieve our keys from a key box by the front gate. We were given the code to use via telephone. This was during the hours of darkness with no light available. When we eventually gained entrance, we discovered our room was up 2 flights of narrow stairs. As we are both elderly, we are unable to climb stairs of that type. We telephoned the host to tell him that we had a problem and to ask if there was a ground floor room available. However, he seemed to have a problem understanding us and rung off. When that happened we had no choice but to find another hotel. At no time did the host make an appearance or make any effort to solve our problem. We eventually spent the night at Hotel Los Arcos. In view of these problems in need a full refund of the 79€ paid to Casa Cabo de Gata. How they have the nerve to charge that amount with no facilities or personal contact with the host, is beyond me. It is daylight robbery. I look forward to receiving your reply and my full refund.

  The sheets were clean the rest was not good

  Liked: the sheets were clean. We had to ask them to make the room after we arrived because the floors were dirty.

  Disliked: They do not have refrigerators that work. They were not even able to help us with our needs. During the booking we specifically asked to be able to freeze water bottles but the fridge that they had could not cool down a yoghurt, We had to buy bags of ice and have the fridge on maximum just to keep the food acceptably cold. The surroundings are really bad. it looks like an abandoned home and you here everything from every room.

  Liked: To be fair, we were visiting friends for one night who were staying at a hotel on the beach therefore we didn't really use the facilities here. However it was clean, very comfortable bed and had a fridge and some cooking facilities as well as cutlery etc in the room. There was also a comfortable, communal lounge/sitting area as well as adequate parking.
