Exceptional
Liked: Very well equipped, extremely clean and great location. Fantastic views across the bay and the terraces get the sun all day long. Excellent host and the key collection was very smooth. I would definitely go back.

Wonderful and beautiful!!
Liked: Absolute gem— a gorgeous and comfortable patio, with the right amount of shade and sun. We spent most of our time staring out at the sea and enjoying our meals outside in peaceful tranquility. Wonderful and comfortable inside, too, with a fully stocked kitchen, better than we’ve seen anywhere else in Spain (spices, oils, coffee, filters, etc all provided). Our host, Maria, was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Great hiking trails nearby and you can easily walk down to the beach or into town. We would definitely return!
Disliked: There was some construction noise one morning (apparently they are putting a pool in on the rooftop) that was unexpected, but turns out it was a scheduling error and our host took care of it for us. 😊
We had a very special stay in San José and the wonderful Casa Mariposa
Liked: The house was completely equipped, there was nothing we needed that wasn't already provided. The views, the house itself and the atmosphere of the village was spectacular. I would recommend it to anyone.
Liked: Everything was wonderful! We had a fantastic stay in San José. The villa’s location is exceptional – peaceful on the edge of town with a view of the harbor, yet only a few minutes’ walk to the center of the lovely little village. The spacious terraces and dining areas are especially worth mentioning – simply delightful. Thank you for the wonderful time we had with you!

Liked: Beautiful casa with lovely terraces to soak up the views. Great location right at the edge of town so very peaceful. Very well equipped with everything we needed. Owner very responsive.
Disliked: Just note that two of the bedrooms are in a slight annex - they are on different floors but open plan to each other so not full privacy.
Amazing!!! The whole family loved Casa Mariposa
Liked: The location is outstanding!!! The expansive terraces offer some of the finest views in San Jose. The spacious kitchen is equipped with beautiful appliances and is well-stocked with all the necessary utensils and supplies. Everything is brand new and impeccably clean. Our hosts, Yoyo and her colleague Christina, were delightful and accommodating, ensuring that no request was too much trouble. The villa is divided into two sections, functioning as a sort of separate annex with its own bathroom, which provided us with a bit of privacy while allowing the kids some independence. Our family frequently visits the charming town of San Jose, and this villa is now our favourite.
