  If you like big, old type, all inclusive resorts, this is your place. If not avoid. I think it is not worth the money. D

  Liked: Good location. Room with nice sea view.

  Disliked: The lamp in the main room was not working, and the AC was leaking. I also had some chocolates in my carry-on, and unfortunately, ants got inside my bag, forcing me to throw all the chocolates away. In addition, our room was not made up on the first day. I had to complain at the front desk and request compensation for the various inconveniences. As compensation, I was given another room to use for a late checkout until 5 p.m. The breakfast was also disappointing, as the food did not seem particularly fresh.

  Relaxing and lovely stay

  Liked: We enjoyed our stay at Alua suites. The staff especially Oscar and Leire has showed us their kindness and both are extremely helpful with any requests/ queries we have. The relaxing pool for adults with the views of the sea was so peaceful away from the loud music from the other pool. The half board was flexible if we want to swap our dinner to lunch which was convenient if we wanted to go out for dinner. The food in buffet was delicious and the hotel served something different everyday. We’re happy with the size of our room and our balcony. The location is walking distance to the nearest beach and to the marina. Overall lovely and relaxing stay.

  Disliked: The housekeeping changed our towels everyday but the room was not cleaned everyday. It would’ve been nice to have water provided and the teas to be refilled in the room.

  Disliked: Absolutely unacceptable experience for a 4-star hotel. We stayed for 9 nights and had no reliable hot water in our room for 7 of them. The Wi-Fi was also barely usable throughout our entire stay. Instead of fixing the hot water, we were sent from room to room just to take a shower, and on some days we couldn’t shower at all because those rooms were unavailable. We only managed to speak to the manager on our last day, despite later finding out that the manager had been at the hotel all along. The staff never informed us. Even then, the manager offered no real solution and essentially told us there was a problem and nothing could be done. The All Inclusive upgrade offered on the third day did not come close to compensating for this experience. The food was repetitive and mediocre, and it certainly does not compensate for spending 7 out of 9 nights without hot water in our own room. After all of this, the hotel still refused even a partial refund. For a 4-star hotel, this level of service, communication, and management is completely unacceptable. I would not recommend staying here. We are still extremely disappointed that, despite all these issues, the hotel has refused any partial refund or fair compensation. We hope the hotel will reconsider this and take proper responsibility for the serious disruption to our stay.

  Disliked: Over priced cruise ship vibe. Aircon barely worked. Cleaners did a poor job. Internet was barely working. Staff did an average job of fixing my concerns. Paid a premium for a poor experience

  Liked: The room was clean and the bed was comfy

  Disliked: The shower and taps had salt water - we found this very odd and made us not feel clean after a shower. The shower wasn’t hot either. The air con didn’t work, neither did the wifi. For the price we were paying, we were extremely disappointed so left early.
