  We appreciated the excellent food, comfortable bed, beautiful sea views and fantastic beachfront location. However, the

  Liked: The food was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. There was a wide variety of dishes to choose from, and the food was fresh, well prepared and genuinely delicious. The restaurant offered plenty of choice, and we were very happy with the quality of the meals. The bed was also extremely comfortable and spacious. We had two twin beds pushed together, which made for a very comfortable night’s sleep. The location was another major advantage. The hotel is right next to the sea, and we had a beautiful sea view from our room. The beach was attractive, clean and well maintained, making it a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

  Disliked: stayed at this hotel for one week on an all-inclusive basis. Overall, there were some very positive aspects of our stay, particularly the food, the location and the beautiful sea views. However, the condition of the room we were initially given was disappointing and fell below the standard we expected. Negatives: Upon checking into our first room, we discovered numerous maintenance and cleanliness issues. The silicone sealant in the shower had visible mould, the soap dispenser had not been refilled at all, and both the shampoo and conditioner dispensers were almost empty. The bathroom door was damaged, and the wall-mounted shampoo and conditioner dispensers were extremely loose and appeared to be at risk of falling off. There was also a significant build-up of limescale on the shower hose and showerhead, excessive dust in the bathroom ventilation system and in the hallway vents, and a damaged mirror. We reported these issues to reception immediately. Unfortunately, the manager was unavailable, so the matter was only resolved the following day, when we were moved to another room of the same size and standard. Although the second room was in somewhat better condition, it still had a damaged mirror, a damaged bathroom door and mould on the shower sealant. In other words, some issues were improved, but the replacement room was still not entirely up to standard. Given the inconvenience and discomfort caused by the condition of the original room, we had hoped for a more meaningful gesture of goodwill, such as an upgrade to a larger room or some other form of compensation. Instead, we received a room of the same size, with only some of the issues addressed. This was particularly disappointing because the trip was a birthday present for my mother. Having to raise a complaint and negotiate a room change at the very beginning of our holiday was stressful and uncomfortable, especially as I wanted her to enjoy a relaxing and special experience.

  Disliked: It was very basic for the price paid and the smell of the drains was all through the hotel and hotel room. Could not adjust temp of room either so was too hot at night

  A nice hotel in a great location at Cala D’or which is good value for money

  Liked: The location was great - located right on Cala Ferrara. Our room had views over the beach and pool. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Nightly entertainment was fun. Reasonable value for money with 2 meals included.

  Disliked: Property was a bit tired. Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant was hectic and busy with absolutely no atmosphere!
