Loved our visit to Cala D’or, mostly enjoyed our stay in the apartment

Liked: Location was great, with good views over the shared pool and then onto the beach. 10 minute walk into centre of Cala D’or. 5 minutes to local supermarket and a nice restaurant. Reasonably equipped apartment, although a little dated in places and some maintenance required to small areas. Pool was lovely but in need of an overhaul, cracked and missing tiles, sharp edges around pool but useable.

Disliked: My wife really would have appreciated a mirror in the main bedroom. There were mirrors in the bathroom and 2nd bedroom on the walls but not in main bedroom. Ants, blooming ants taking over the kitchen and traversing along the floor in the lounge. We purchased some self sealing bags to keep opened dry food in, as once opened, the ants invaded all cereal boxes, biscuits etc. Everyday we had ants running around the worktops and floors.

A great base in a great location

Liked: A great base in a great location. So close to the main bars and restaurants and right next to the beach.

Disliked: The apartment was dated and tired. There was no curtain at the patio door which was very annoying. Only a few sun beds at the pool.

  Very central

Liked: This apartment was perfect. We love sea swimming so we could just walk down the steps and we were onto the beach. We were also very close to the shops, bars and restaurants. From the apartment we could also walk down to the port.

  Disliked: Nothing
