  Clean, chilled out hotel in beautiful area

  Liked: The location is perfect, and the pool area is stunning and peaceful. The staff, especially Steffi and the cleaning staff are very good. Every day we came back to fresh towels, made bed and everything just given a little tidy. So lovely. The hotel is set in a small garden, where you sit and have breakfast. Peaceful location, with added helpful touches like community fridge and drying racks on the roof terrace. Laundrette close by handy. You can go to Fowlers bar down the road and sit on the terrace at night, so unique. Also we enjoyed La Vermuteria 5 mins walk away for authentic tapas. Very nice area.

  Disliked: Nothing, in particular. The secondary building which we were in is quite noisy; the sound travels very much so if there are youngsters waking up early, everybody wakes up. The doors are also quite stiff to close, and make a big bang. This means if one family are rising and getting ready, you can hear it. Not a huge issue, but if you want potentially more quiet then ask for the main building? But it’s small thing ☺️

  Perfect location for just a couple of nights stay

  Perfect location, very quiet and relaxing

  Liked: It’s a lovely place to stay. Very pretty and well cared for. Prime location, excellent breakfast. Extremely helpful staff

  Liked: The breakfast was very good

  Disliked: I paid €125 per night in low season and expected a really nice room in a nice hotel. Instead I got a dingy room with a shower which had no pressure, only shower gel and soap, only one plug point above the bed so I had to sleep with my phone on a bed to charge it overnight. I got two twin beds moved together. It was a basic room, cleaned so well that towels, floors and the bathroom still smelled of chemicals. I think I would be happy to pay €50 a night or €60 including breakfast but €125 was simply outrageous. No beach towels. Just a small plastic water bottle — they don’t care about the environment. I didn’t like Cala d’Or either so I left after one night.

  Wonderful stay at Casa Ceiba Maria. Safe, peaceful and perfect location. Will definitely be returning

  Liked: Perfect location, very friendly staff who made us feel welcome and helped us book taxis. The hotel is on the quieter part of Cala D’Or which is ideal, but is less than 5 minute walk from both the bars and the marina. Breakfast was amazing. The pool area is relaxing. Bedrooms air-conditioned and comfortable

  Disliked: The only very small issue is there isn’t a fridge in the bedroom itself, however there are communal fridges. These were very useful for storing sandwich bits, but space was limited
