  The worst 4-star hotel experience we’ve ever had

  Disliked: The worst 4-star hotel experience we’ve ever had. The hotel is extremely dated and felt more like a retirement home than a 4-star hotel. The website is also very misleading, with photos showing nearby facilities that aren’t actually part of the hotel and require additional payment. Housekeeping was awful. Our room wasn’t cleaned on the first day and throughout the stay the bins weren’t emptied and towels weren’t replaced unless we specifically asked. We had to request fresh towels every single day. Breakfast was unnecessarily stressful, with endless rules about where you could sit. We were actually reprimanded for sitting somewhere a staff member had told us to sit, and were then told on two separate occasions that the reason was because they were short-staffed. The bar staff were consistently rude and dismissive. When I was sick and asked for hot water and lemon, I was told to go elsewhere and was eventually given a few reluctant lemon slices. The tap water was salty and dried out our skin. Air conditioning stopped working after two days, there was no room service, and a 500ml bottle of water cost €3. There was also loud karaoke from neighbouring hotels into the early hours, making it difficult to sleep. We were so unhappy that we wanted to leave and move hotels, but were told we had to stay another two nights. Overall, an extremely disappointing experience that fell nowhere near what we would expect from a 4-star hotel. We would absolutely not stay here again.

  Liked: 2nd stay here and really enjoyed it. Weee given a thank you note and bottle of fizz to thank us for returning. Egos beach clubs is great as well

  Liked: Pool facilities and bar food were good, breakfast quality and options were very good, reception team very friendly

  Disliked: Bar staff had a poor and restless attitude. WiFi was good in main parts but due to location of our room, could not connect.
