Liked: Overall, we had a pleasant stay at this hotel. All the staff were incredibly friendly and wonderful, especially those working in the kitchen and dining area. I am truly grateful for their kindness, patience and understanding towards my three energetic and sometimes mischievous children. They always made us feel welcome, and I really appreciated that. The indoor swimming pool is small but clean and perfect for colder or rainy days.
Disliked: However, there were two things that really disappointed us. 1. The night receptionist and our airport transfer We had asked the receptionist in advance about arranging a taxi to the airport at 3:00 AM. She assured us that she would be working on October 30th and that there was absolutely no need to book a taxi in advance or worry about anything. However, when I went downstairs at 2:30 AM, there was nobody at reception. I tried calling, knocking on the door and shouting loudly, but nobody answered. There we were, with three young children and three large suitcases, in the middle of the night, without the assistance we had been promised. Apparently, someone was enjoying a very good night’s sleep during their night shift! I understand that arranging a taxi is not necessarily the hotel’s responsibility, but when a staff member explicitly reassures guests that everything will be fine, they should be able to rely on that promise. 2. Charging guests to weigh their luggage This is supposed to be a four-star hotel, yet there isn’t even a complimentary luggage scale available! Instead, guests have to pay €1 per suitcase to use a scale in the luggage storage room. Even worse, the weight appears on the display so briefly that you barely have time to read it! For a four-star hotel, this is honestly ridiculous and disappointing.
Liked: we enjoyed location and nice breakfast
Disliked: beds were sliding apart without any effort, spa jacuzzi no bubbles and sauna temp around 40deg C
Liked: Friendly, convenient, close to the beach. Breakfast very good. Staff helpful and friendly.
Disliked: Noises in the night.
