  I very rarely write reviews, but needed to say how bad this stay was for what we paid

  Liked: It was a place to sleep and looked cute. The location seemed nice although we didn't get to enjoy the town due to arriving later and then waiting another hour and a half to check in.

  Disliked: This was a very last-minute booking on a holiday weekend. There was no staff on the property when we arrived about 2145 on a Saturday. It took about an hour and a half just to check in due to the link to their online check-in system always being removed from the messages and emails they sent us via booking.com. We were lucky some other guests gave us a number to a WhatsApp AI chatbot that could only alert the team we needed assistance, but couldn't send us the online check-in link. As many travelers are using data only plans and don't have cell service, I was hoping to fix things via WhatsApp, but ended up having to turn on my cell service to call the number listed in booking.com. Once I was able to get through to someone and simply request the link, they told me they'd call me back. After waiting for their call, I ended up having to call them again and they finally sent me the online check-in link via WhatsApp. Once we were able to finally get in using the codes sent through their online check-in system, the room smelled terrible, like sewage. If it had been earlier in the day and we hadn't already struggled so much to get into the place, we probably would have left. We were then asked to move our car from their on-site parking area to the street since "another customer would be parking there". There were 2 bugs in the bed and ants on the floor. It just seemed like the room hadn't been used in a while and was cleaned weeks before, but no one checked it again before we arrived. We asked for the wifi password and never received it. We could also hear the people in the room next to us. We asked for a partial refund through booking.com and they weren't able to reach an agreement with the property, but booking.com gave us €24 travel credit. Although that was nice of booking.
