  A deeply disappointing and misleading experience that has seriously damaged our trust in Booking.com

  Liked: The location is small, pleasant, and charming, and that is unfortunately the only positive thing we can say about our stay.

  Disliked: We were given apartment L2 in the basement, which was completely different and far worse than the upper-floor apartment shown in the photos, so we feel seriously misled. The apartment reeked of damp, was extremely small, and during our stay we killed five cockroaches and also found ants, which says everything about the hygiene standards. Nobody came even once to clean or replace the towels, the property ignored our message through Booking.com, and since many previous reviews report the same problems, it is disgraceful that Booking.com continues to list this accommodation without properly protecting its customers. After this experience, I will seriously reconsider whether I can ever trust Booking.com to reserve any accommodation again.

  Convenient to the beach and local town

  Liked: Apparently there was a water leak in our original apartment so we was changed to another, the same happened to our friends. I think they own both properties and advertised one on booking.com when they over book you are put into there second property

  Ant infestation. Poor host communication. Good location

  Liked: Good location.

  Disliked: There is no host or front desk. When I had an issue I was speaking to someone in another country with no knowledge of the property. There was a whole colony of ants walking through the bathroom and bedroom when we arrived, and it only got worse.

  Location wise is perfect, but otherwise expensive for what it offers

  Liked: The location was perfect and probably the only reason for choosing this place. The bathroom was quite big, overall the place was good in terms of space and the terrace was nice!

  Disliked: The check in is after 16:00 and the check out is between 9:00 and 10:00, with no options to leave one’s bags anywhere on the property. This is a huge inconvenience for tourists because there are no public spaces to leave luggage. Also, the check in after 16:00 means your day is pretty much gone in waiting in cafes until you can get into the property. No flexibility shown in being able to go earlier. The place was very basic, there was not even salt and sugar left at the property. At least there was a bottle of mineral water which was a nice gesture. The value for money was not there for me, what Booking offered me as a price for this place, I later found a nearby 4* hotel with the same price per night. I booked this place because there wasn’t much availability at the time when I did my booking (some months in advance).
