  Very enjoyable three night stay

  Liked: Good location to walk down to Cudillero. It was very clean and the beds exceptionally comfortable. The restaurant sells lovely fish dishes

  Good hotel, better restaurant

  Liked: The food at the restaurant in the El Pescador is outstanding. They have their own fishing boat and it shows in the quality of the dishes. Some of the best chipirones we have ever tasted. Coming from Valencia we had some sticker shock, prices for food and lodging are very high in Asturias. I assume it is because their visitor season is so short. We had a lovely ocean view from our triple room and a great bathtub, always a plus. Easy parking, and the hilltop location is nice but you must have a car. You can walk into town but it is a steep climb back up to the hotel. Great to hear the chickens and seagulls, a wonderful escape. Even if you don't stay here, you must eat at the restaurant. The Wi-Fi was solid.

  Disliked: The room is small, and the ceilings are low, as it is at the top of the property, so be careful if you are tall. At some point, the north coast of Spain, famed for cooler weather and lots of rain, is going to have to come to grips with the climate crisis and install some fans. The room was hot and stuffy. There's a decent breeze when you open the window, but then you have the mosquitoes to contend with since there are no screens. The neighbor decided to mow his lawn right after lunch, very un-Spanish like to ruin everyone's chance at a siesta, one of the country's great traditions.
