  Prudencio-the proprietor, is número uno

  Liked: The people I meet are the most important aspect in my everyday life, including travel. If I feel welcome and cared about, and there is an expression of affection, everything else pales in comparison. The hotel owner, Prudencio, is a lovely person. He helped us in so many ways that I could adopt him as a son.

  Disliked: When I left the hotel to proceed on our trip, I should have given Prudencio a big hug.

  Hotel recomendable en Cudillero

  Liked: El chico de la recepción es muy amable. La ubicación céntrica. No hay parking, pero hay vado para descargarse y aparcar en otro sitio. Las habitaciones tienen todo lo necesario y son limpias. El precio es muy bueno

  It is ok if you are simply looking for something practical

  Liked: The staff was really really nice and welcoming. The location is great, 5 min walking from the main square.

  Disliked: The facilities are decent, but I expected more based on the reviews I had read. Unfortunately, we had noisy guests next door, and the bedrooms were not well soundproofed, which resulted in unpleasant noise during the night. It is ok if you are simply looking for something practical—nothing fancy and not the highest quality in terms of cleanliness and facilities.

  Liked: The hotel was cute and offered great value for money. The location was lovely, and I really enjoyed being able to hear the river nearby in my room. The hotelier was incredibly welcoming and kind, which made the whole stay even nicer.

  Disappointing considering the positive reviews on Booking

  Liked: Kind host, relatively close to the center

  Disliked: Overall the room was not clean: fan in the bathroom that turns on automatically with the light was very noisy and fully obstructed by dust, some stains on bedsheets, towels seemed not the cleanest. We wouldn’t recommend the breakfast, especially because of the very strange taste of the coffee (probably milk was expired).
