  Liked: The camp is excellently run. Toiles clean showers clean washing facilities excellent. We arrived mid-September, and the pool was still open. Excellent.

  Nice but flawed camp site experience

  Liked: Nice compact camp site with great swimming pool. The dome tent was very nice and stocked with towels, microwave, glasses, knives and forks, fridge and washing up tools. The food in the cafe was good quality. The proximity to Cudillero was good although it is a VERY steep walk.

  Disliked: After a couple of days it became very damp in the dome tent, and some of our clothes started to gather mould. Also there seemed to be no quiet hours as people were talking and shouting, sometimes until 2 am, so sleep was often interrupted. It is a very kid friendly camp site and there were a lot of them. There seemed to be little control or rules about the kids activities. For example teenagers having full speed bicycle races around the camp site. I almost collided with them on a bend. Luckily I was not driving my car. The cafe/restaurant only opened at 1:00PM every day so no option for breakfast. Although you could order bread in advance and queue for it in the morning. Also the cafe/restaurant was closed all day on Monday and Tuesdays. Lastly we had the impression that the staff could not cope with the number of visitors as queues were long to check in and during these times it was impossible to buy anything from the on-site shop.

  Cosy camping, family atmosphere, great beaches (yet a car is a must in my opinion)

  Liked: The cosiness of this small scale place.

  Disliked: The relatively high price for the glamping tent we stayed in. It was our own choice of course. But still really on the high side compared to others places we stayed during the same trip in northern Spain.
